Nextflow for beginners - 3-day course (19.04; 26.04; 3.05), Tartu - Course is full

This 3-day Nextflow course by ELIXIR Estonia, in collaboration with the University of Tartu HPC Center, comprehensively introduces the powerful workflow language. Nextflow is renowned for its robust, scalable, and reproducible methods of running computational pipelines. Through efficient, interactive lessons, participants will gain a solid understanding of Nextflow technology, from fundamental to advanced concepts.

A new course in the University of Tartu - High-performance Computing

A new course for current and future high-performance computer users!

A new course in the University of Tartu curriculum will start in autumn - High-performance Computing (3 ECTS).

The goal is to provide an understanding of high-performance computing and its working principles. The course will introduce HPC best practices and use cases for efficient calculations with large complex data.

We accept participants from all levels of study (bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies). The lecturers are HPC Center's experienced specialists.

Repositories and HPCs in Estonia - 21.03.2023

On the 21.03. 2023, ELIXIR-Estonia will be organising an online data management course in English: Repositories and HPCs in Estonia. This lecture is part of a bigger data management course package aimed at DMP writers and grant applicants.

University of Tartu Library DataDoi, TalTech Data, EMU DSpace, ETAIS and the University of Tartu HPC will each give an introductory presentation about themselves. Repositories will talk about what data they collect, who can use the repository and under what conditions. HPCs will introduce their computing solutions, who and how can use them and under what conditions and prices.
