This is a 2-day workshop for biologists needing to perform statistical analyses using R.
The “Python for Beginners” course introduces Python programming, designed for those with little to no prior experience. Upon completion, students will have a firm grasp of Python fundamentals and be equipped with the skills to start their journey in Python programming.
Data management is an essential part of scientific research and is crucial for maximizing the value of data. Crash course in Data Management is an introductory course that equips researchers with the necessary skills for effective organization and management of research data. Participants will gain knowledge of best practices in data documentation, backup, and sharing. We will go through exercises and assignments to reinforce new knowledge.
The annual flagship event provides a comprehensive combination of lectures and tutorial sessions on biomolecular modeling and simulations using modern applications and tools. The BioExcel School is intended primarily for PhD and post-doctoral researchers using or planning to use biomolecular modeling and simulation in their everyday research.
Registration closes: 14th February 2025
Dates: 8 – 13 June 2025
The course consists of a theoretical part and hands-on labs for participants to practice how to analyze an Extrae trace with Paraver. We will use a climate application as a demonstration, focusing on typical problems arising to numerical models and computational fluid dynamic applications.
